Don’t you love it when a plan comes together?

We love to celebrate our customers’ success and it’s great to be part of Oprema’s story.

A bit of background: Oprema distributes security equipment. In fact, it’s the UK’s fastest growing multi-brand distributor and FortuneWest is proud of our small part in the company’s growth.

We welcomed Oprema as a client in March 2016. At that time the company had 22 employees and operated out of a 4,000 square foot warehouse in Cardiff.

Since then FortuneWest has looked after Oprema’s ongoing PR and social media activity, generating over £50K worth of PR coverage compared to buying the equivalent advertising space. We project managed their presence at IFSEC – the International Fire & Security Exhibition and Conference – designing and building their stand. We have also created a corporate brochure that captures their values and activities.

Now look at them

Last month they moved into 15,000 sq ft of newly fitted out premises in south Cardiff after securing a £850,000 co-investment from HSBC and Finance Wales. The new office features state of the art training and demonstration facilities. Oprema has expanded the team as well and now have 37 employees.

Matthew Epps, Managing Director at Oprema, sums it up nicely when he says: “The whole team is really excited about the future of the company, especially the recent move to our new premises in Cardiff. The move took place at the end of June, creating 15 new jobs and further expanding the reach and capabilities of our operation and distribution.”

The future is looking golden. The new facility allows Oprema to hold up to £5 million of stock and improves the company’s logistics operations. It’s great to work with clients who love what they do and we are delighted help ensure their continuing success.
